MTEK has long-term, proven track-records of committed action in East Africa. MTEK leadership and associates began working with Rwanda in 2008 and have established strong relationships with senior leaders at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), the Ministry of Health, and the University of Rwanda.
Our partnerships in East Africa allow us to demonstrate a wide-range of technical expertise, including analytic, statistical and systems support and the development of public health, biostatistics, and health economics curricula. Side-by-side capacity building is at the core of our dedication to our East African partners. MTEK’s leadership also provides supervision to Rwandan graduate students at both Masters’ and PhD levels.
MTEK has also partnered in the development of the “Rwanda Health Analytics Platform”, a data integration and visualization platform for RBC. Additionally, we are working with the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Rapid Pro project funded through Grand Challenges Canada to provide technical guidance and analytic support to this rich data source of MNCH collected via SMS from conception up to five years of age.
Our MTEK Rwanda office is located in Remera, Kigali.
